Woody Cuttings for Rooting
Use our easy-to-root willow and dogwood cuttings to grow your own fast growing ornamental hedge or materials for floral design. Enjoy their beauty in the garden year round. Our willows and dogwoods are appropriate for zones 3-8. They love wet areas and can even be grown in soggy soil. Plunge each cutting about half way into the damp earth in the spring (or start them indoors in damp soil mix and plant out after several weeks). We recommend at least 4 foot spacing between plants. Copice (cut back) plants in the spring to encourage more growth if you like. Available for shipping in March and April only.
