Exciting news! In late 2019 our owner and lead designer, Linda D’Arco, was named one of only 4 U.S. Founding Ambassadors to the international Sustainable Floristry Network. This small network of leading designers includes some of the most recognizable names in the floral design industry. They’ve flowered everything from royal weddings to celebrity events. Are you seeking a little something different for your small wedding or event? When I started our floral design studio, I decided that we would avoid the habit of including easy to acquire and increasingly mundane plants and flowers that feed a large carbon footprint and some very serious global pesticide and herbicide pollution issues. Instead, we’d build a farm to serve our design studio, and we’d grow the most beautiful flowers, vines, and greens that many of our clients had ever seen.
The plants are my muses. As our design studio and complimentary flower farm enters its 5th season here in the Adirondacks, we continue our commitment to providing local, sustainably grown flowers woven into creative projects throughout New York and New England. Perhaps as important - I knew that my business needed to have impact. Impact is something that teaching and learning always gave me. That is why I offer our experiences and expertise in sustainable growing and floristry to others through our blog and various social media outlets, share charitable donations with local educational organizations and social justice causes, and surprise our community with a large scale floral installation each summer.
We offer prepared event flowers for pick up at our studio in Jay, New York. These products are available in our online shop. We are not offering delivery and installation or floral proposal drafting at this time. Thank you.
