Fertilizers are not necessary or recommended when you are just starting to plant your roses. They can burn the roots. Instead, work a small amount of finished compost into the soil as you back fill the hole. Roses love deep watering, but once their long roots are established, they are surprisingly drought tolerant. Bare root roses are mature plants. They can begin producing blooms on harvestable stems just a few months from planting. you do not need to wait a full year for these plants to settle in before you use them for cut flower applications.
All sales are final. Buyer assumes responsibility for growing flowers from these bulbs. We recommend planting them within a week of receipt. Rose roots ship in the spring.
