Grower’s Note: A maroon allium is a rariety. Most allium are purple flowering. This one grows curling stems that straighten just before opening. Add allium 'Forelock' to your collection this fall!
Planting instructions: Choose a sunny spot. Dig a hole or trough about 3 times the height of the bulb. Set your bulbs in the hole with the pointy tip up. Water. Replace soil and tamp down. Fertilizers are not necessary. The typical spring rains here are all they need in our fields.
