Blue Flirt Bearded Iris
'Blue Flirt' Qualities:
Type: mid, 25 inches
Timing: early to mid season
Colors: deep blue beard and icey pastel blue standards and falls
Zones: 4-9
Grower’s Note: Add 'Blue Flirt' to your iris collection for a shorter (but still plenty tall for cutting!) flower with special blue beards and frosty petals.
Planting instructions: Choose a sunny spot. Bearded iris prefer well draining soil and they like to be planted in before the coldest weeks of fall set in. Plant bearded iris rhizomes shallowly. The crown should be visible at the soil surface. Cover with mulch for extra protection in climates with severe winters. Remove the mulch from the crown of the plant in the spring. Bearded iris may be divided every few years for even more plants! Package contains 1 rhizome.
