Tonight, we're raffling off a pair of freshwater pearl earrings from Nina Foster at Trillium Finch. Nina, a sweet friend from the flower growing world, moved back to Vermont (her home state) from Washington's Skagit Valley. In the off season, Nina crafts beautiful handmade jewelry from her studio in Shelburne. 

We also have a copy of Alli Koch's How to Draw Modern Florals book. We've started leaning heavily on sketching our designs for event proposals. It is an easy way for us to share our visions with clients when we're not able to show them floral mock-ups during the winter. Check out our posts on drawing and painting proposal sketches. Alli's book is a great resource for the new-to-drawing florist.
